Shobha De's tweet over Indian Athletes at Rio Olympics creates steer in Bollywood celebrities

Year 2016's much awaited and popular event of Rio Olympic 2016 games have commenced and all the nations are indulged in to the exciting games. With the feeling of National Pride going abuzz, celebrities and general public is taking it to the Social Media to express their thoughts and feelings. However, recently prominent Indian Personality and famous author Shobha De made exceptional comment on Twitter regarding Indian Athlete Team representing India at Rio Olympics 2016. In her tweet Shobha De has expressed dissatisfaction over Indian Athlete Team's performance at the Rio Olympic games. Shobha De's tweet reads "Goal of Team India at the Olympics: Rio Jao. Selfies lo. Khaali haat wapas aao. What a waste of money and opportunity." Initially it was thought that Shobha De has put up the tweet without much thought over it, but when Shobha De still held on to her opinion and tweet, many people have reacted adversely to Shobha De's tweet. Bollywood celebrities too have re commented on Shobha De's tweet and have condemned her thought. Prominent actor Abhishek Bachchan took it to Twitter to answer back Shobha De. Abhishek Bachchan's tweet says "Yes, winning is the goal. But representing your country at the Olympics is a HUGE deal too regardless of the results. Proud of r athletes." Apart from Abhsihek Bachchan, Arjun Kapoor too reacted on the said Tweet by Shobha De. Arjun Kapoor's tweet reads "Everyone has an opinion about our athletes at Rio, wish everyone with opinion had once tried to even represent their country. #IndiaAtRio."
