A major news is coming in over the much controversial Sony TV show Pehredaar Piya Ki as the show is approaching towards getting in a legal trouble. A lot of viewers and even the TV personalities have spoken against Pehredaar Piya Ki over the concept of the show. Pehredaar Piya Ki features an 18 years old princess Diya (Tejasswi Prakash) married to 9-year-old Prince Ratan (Affan Khan), as Diya has chosen to be the protector of Ratan. Pehredaar Piya Ki till now has showcased Ratan's crush over Diya, their wedding and even the honeymoon where Ratan feeds Jalebis to Diya. The viewers have been raising a voice against this concept and story of Pehredaar Piya Ki and have alleged the show for promoting Child Marriage. Viewers are even worried about the concepts that children may develop in their mind seeing Pehredaar Piya Ki. And hence, a group of viewers have filed a petition against Pehredaar Piya Ki to have it banned. The petition has been sent to Union Minister Smriti Irani. Reacting in this matter, Tejasswi Prakash said "I think it is (Pehredaar Piya Ki) really progressive. But again, a lot of people believe in judging a book by its cover, they love being judgemental and people have nothing better to do than judging somebody else's work. Then ok, what can I do?" Tejasswi further added "I feel it's just a story and fiction. It's just a story that we are telling people. So how can you judge any story? You like it ok, you don't like it, so, you don't like it. We are not professors, we are not trying to teach you anything." What do you think of Tejasswi's reaction on Pehredaar Piya Ki row? Do let us know in your comments.
