Salman Khan's 'raped woman' remark during Sultan promotion turns in huge controversy, Salim Khan apologizes on Salman's behalf
Salman Khan has yet again got his hand burnt in recent controversy over his remark of ‘raped woman’ during a promotional event of his upcoming mega movie Sultan. Recently Salman Khan attended online interview with famous portal and was remarked that after the rigorous shooting of the Sultan scene, he fused to feel like a ‘raped woman.’
Salman Khan’s ‘raped woman’ comment has erupted huge controversy and National Commission for Women has warned Salman to apologize for his comment within seven days else that he would be summoned.
Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer upcoming movie Sultan is ready for Eid release on 6th July, 2016. Sultan is largely based on the life of wrestler and involves lot of wrestling drama and action. Apparently Salman had to undergo tremendous physical training and physical actions for Sultan.
While his interview on the online portal, when asked about hectic schedule, Salman answered “while shooting, during those six hours, there’d be so much of lifting and thrusting on the ground involved. That was tough for me because if I was lifting, I’d have to lift the same 120-kilo guy 10 times from 10 different angles. And likewise get thrown that many times on the ground. This act is not repeated that many times in the ring. When I used to walk out of the ring, after the shoot, I used to feel like a raped woman. I couldn’t walk straight. I would eat and then, head right back to training. That couldn’t stop.”
Apparently Salman Khan’s father Salim Khan has touched upon the controversy on Twitter and has tried to apologize on behalf of Salman Khan. Salim Khan’s tweet reads “Undoubtedly what Salman said is very wrong, the simili, example and the context. The intension was not wrong.’
