Star Plus shows Ishqbaaz, Naamkaran, Ikyawan, Meri Durga may go off air from June
A shocking news is currently making rounds in the media that concerns some of the big television shows that air on the popular Indian Television channel, Star Plus. As per the latest reports and rumors, Star India is planning to shut the shops of serials like Ishqbaaz, Naamkaran, Meri Durga and Ikyawann from June 2018. As known, Star Plus has already decided to shut Sanjay Kapoor - Smriti Kalra starring show Dil Sambhal Jaa Zara which has already shot the last episode. It is a well-known fact that even though Ishqbaaz serial is popular in social media and has a great connect with the viewers and fans, Ishqbaaz has never performed exceptionally at the TRPs.
Star Plus to bring shows like The King's Daughter and Yeh Hai Mohabbatein Spin-off
Even though Shivaay (Nakuul Mehta) - Anika (Surbhi Chandna), Omkara (Kunal Jaisingh) - Gauri (Shrenu Parikh), Rudra (Leenesh Mattoo) - Bhavya (Mansi Srivastava) are loved by the fans, the TRP ratings have been falling constantly. The same story is of Naamkaran in which Neil and Avani exhibit great chemistry on screen but the TRPs are not rising. Shows like Meri Durga and Ikyawann started off well but never managed to pick up at the TRP charts. Citing this, apparently, Star India has decided to pull the plug of these shows. It is said that Star Plus will be revamping the content and will bring in some new shows to replace these in July this year. What do you think of Ishqbaaz and Naamkaran going off air?
